Fur Real Friends Biscuit My Lovin Pup Is a Hit with Kids
I admit that I’m an animal lover. To be honest, I can’t imagine not having a dog or another type of pet. However, there are many families who aren’t able to have a pet and often for very good reasons. For the younger kids especially, FurReal Friends Biscuit My Lovin Pup might just be the answer.
This cute, plush animal is a newcomer to the FurReal Friends product line of toy pets. It is fully interactive and is ready to entertain your child for hours straight out of the box. Biscuit comes complete with collar and tag, dog bone, brush and adoption certificate. He nods, whimpers, barks, wags his tail and more and is very convincing with his mannerisms.
For even more realism, Biscuit is capable of recognizing your child’s voice and knows six commands including sit, speak and lie down. He also knows how to shake hands when asked, which I think is the cutest trick that he knows. And when he sits up and begs, it is sure to melt even the coldest of hearts.
A Few Things to consider
Fur Real Friends Biscuit has a soft coat and pleading eyes. Biscuit is nearly two feet high. While most kids will enjoy the fact that is he a large size, this toy will be difficult for smaller children to carry around. Most small children can still enjoy having Biscuit as a pet, but you should be prepared to do most of the moving of Biscuit for your child. Biscuit also requires 6 D batteries, which you will need to remember to pick up since they are not included in the box.
The Technology Behind Biscuit
Nine sensors help Biscuit to interact with a child based on movement, touch and voice. Touching his left paw will cause him to raise it and shake hands. To get Biscuit to bark simply give him the command “speak.” He will even responsd by flinching or blinking if something is waved in front of him due to a sensor in his forehead.
Biscuit My Lovin Pup will choose various interaction modes based upon how much interaction he is receiving. After a short while of not being interacted with, Biscuit enters “hangout” mode where he will do some cute behaviors to try to grab your attention. If he doesn’t receive some attention for a determined amount of time, he will next lay down and go to sleep.
It’s easy to see why this sophisticated toy is thought to be the most innovative toy of the year. This is why so many parents are adding FurReal Friends Biscuit My Lovin Pup to their wish lists for their children.
