Wearing Black
May 8th, 2008 • Related • Filed Under
We all know that black is a good color especially when you are trying to hide those curves but sometimes we should do away with all that and get more color in our wardrobe. Black is boring. Just because we are more voluptuous than other women doesn’t mean we can’t wear print and other more colorful clothes especially in spring.
Plus size fashion has come a long way since the era of a pinhole camera. There are clothing manufacturers that makes clothes for the plus sized women to accentuate their bodies without using the color black. So worry not when you try on clothes that have colors in them.

Prints are never a no-no, just don’t have them big and bold. Look for prints that provide subtlety for this will bring out the feminine you and being a plus size gives it more character.

A plus size myself, black really makes me look slimmer. Black is beautiful and versatile…it could go with any shoe color. I’d say play it by the shoes

True, black is slimming, but so our vertical stripes. Or go with the black, but accessorize with colourful shoes, jewelry, belts, and bags.
But hey, aren’t we supposed to be proud of our curves and love the body we’ve got - if so then splash on the bold colour and prints and stand proud, head up, chest out and jiggle your jelly!
